Chungdokwan & London Championships

A weekend once again of success for LivingWell Taekwondo; back to competition with our world championship players being on great form; Zoe Brown, Guntur Dwairmien and Stephane Roth leading the show and taking Gold each.  Following them in respectful categories were Master Del Gold, Stacey Sumner Synchron Gold, Melissa McSorley Glod (ind, pairs and synchron), Linda Mandalas Gold, Natalie Dormer, Sue Parkins and Suzanne Reed Synchron Gold, Suzanne Reed Gold individual, Charlotte Brown Gold, Georgie Stalford, Georgie Neal and Taylor Parkins Synchron Gold, silvers and two bronzes were also won, and the overall team trophies to LivingWell at the Saturdays International Championships Hampshire.

Day two took the club to London at the London championships which was part of a selection process towards the Olympic games.  Melissa Mcsorley took her 4th Gold of the weekend, Danny and Georgina Stalford both fought their way to the finals fighting magnificently and catching the eye of the selectors.  Heavy weight Baser Ince pounded his way to the best performance to date just losing in the semi final.  Two more golds were won in the colour belt section taking LivingWell to fourth place overall.  In both disciplines LivingWell showed the quality of players within the club.
